Minimap Mod respects the intellectual property rights of creators, including mod developers, artists and writers. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.
What We Host
We publish original guides, images and reviews. We do not host mod files; all downloads link to official third-party platforms. If you believe any text, image or other material on this website infringes your copyright, please notify us using the process below.
How to File a DMCA Notice
Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL of the material on our website.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.
What Happens Next
We review complete notices within five business days. If the notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material and, where possible, notify the person who provided it. Incomplete notices may delay our response.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address including your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, your contact details and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
We will remove content from and, where appropriate, block contributors who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
False Claims
Knowingly submitting a false infringement notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees. Please make sure the material actually infringes your rights before filing.
